Job Requirements
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to transport up to 30 pounds continuously during the shift
- Ability to stand and walk constantly
- Ability to frequently twist, bend, stoop, reach, talk, hear, see and smile
- Ability to make change and operate cash register
- Ability to comply with company policies and safety procedures
- Neat, clean and well-groomed appearance in accordance with team member handbook
- Availability to work flexible hours including shifts during a 24/7 operation
Job Qualifications
- Hold a current Food Handler Card
- Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service
- Basic mathematical skills to operate cash register and handle transactions
- Basic English writing and communication skills
- Manual dexterity for preparing garnishes and mixing drinks
- Ability to understand product labeling and apply safety measures
- Ability to remember and promote menu items
- Ability to operate beverage equipment like coffee maker
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
- Promote and document orders for drinks
- Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
- Maintain proper and adequate bar setup daily including requisitioning and stocking supplies
- Prepare and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily
- Receive cash from guests, make change, verify charges, record transactions and balance all money
- Lock up and store all beverages, food and equipment, deposit cash drops and secure the bank
- Answer bar phone promptly and take room service orders correctly and courteously
- Input orders into the point of sale system and create checks for guests
- Perform general cleaning tasks using hotel cleaning products
- Follow company policies, safety and security procedures
- Report unsafe conditions, accidents or property damage
- Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
- Assist other beverage personnel when needed
- Perform related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
