Job Requirements
- Able to operate blenders, frozen drink machines and other bar equipment
- stands during entire shift
- frequent immersion of hands in water every five minutes
- ability to wipe down tabletops, table legs, pick up debris off floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant
- transports glass racks cases up to 25 pounds such as a case of beer up to 15 times per shift
- reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
- must have ability to remain stationary for long periods of up to four hours in length
- must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a bartender or mixologist preferred but not required
- ability to operate bar equipment such as blenders and frozen drink machines
- effective verbal communication skills
- basic reading, writing, and math skills
- ability to maintain cleanliness throughout the bar and dining areas
- physical endurance to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks
Job Duties
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following Applebee's specifications
- operate blenders, frozen drink machines, and other bar equipment
- wipe down tabletops, table legs, and booth seats throughout the restaurant
- pick up debris off the floor to maintain cleanliness
- transport glass racks and cases weighing up to 25 pounds multiple times per shift
- engage with guests to enhance their experience
- stand for the entire shift maintaining attentiveness and efficiency
