Job Requirements

  • Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register, make change, total guest checks, count total bank, prepare cash drops, total all other charges, and understand portion sizes
  • Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale procedures to pre-check an order and close out a check with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to understand, read, write and speak basic English and communicate with team members and guests
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Must have excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to work as a part of a team
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to use a knife to make garnish, pick up glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks and reach overhead to retrieve stock with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Professional and energetic
  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • At least one year of bar experience
  • Knowledge of spirits and wine
  • Ability to create craft artisan cocktails and specialty drinks
  • Hotel experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Make cocktails and provide exceptional guest experiences
  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis including requisitioning and stocking beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce
  • Maintain stock, cut, and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables daily to insure product quality
  • Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promote and document orders for drinks
  • Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and portion control
  • Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
  • Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create checks for each guest to maintain accountability
  • Receive cash from guests, make change, verify charges, record charges and insure vouchers are properly executed
  • Lock and store all beverage, food, and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank
  • Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
  • Perform any other job related duties as assigned
