Job Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age
  • be able to communicate with and understand guests
  • have working knowledge of craft beers, microbrews, wine, liquor and common drink recipes
  • possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a cash register
  • be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time up to 8 hours
  • be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds
  • must have OLCC Serving and Food Handlers Permits within 30 days of employment

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests upon arrival
  • take beverage orders from guests
  • prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the restaurant's standard drink recipes
  • have or develop a knowledge of craft beer and microbrews and be able to recommend and explain to guests
  • become fluent in the understanding of the restaurant's table and seating numbers
  • carry service trays and deliver food to tables
  • pre-bus finished plates
  • accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change if needed
