Job Duties
- Prepare beverages for guests according to recipe
- serve food for guests in the bar area
- assist bussers, food runners, servers, and hosts as directed
- stock and restock bar with alcohol, glassware, ice, and supplies
- maintain security of all bar stock and inventory
- greet guests with a warm and sincere smile
- respond to guest needs with tact, patience, and courtesy
- secure and reconcile the bar cash drawer
- record and account for all items ordered and process payments
- understand and respond knowledgeably to questions about the restaurant and menu
- use sales techniques and promote current promotions
- follow all steps of service
- comply with food allergy procedures and special orders
- adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines
- follow all policies, procedures, and employment conditions
- collaborate well with others and be a team player
- present a professional appearance and demeanor
- work a variety of hours including weekends
- effectively service bar top, cocktail station, and dining room orders
- operate tools and equipment safely including knives and blenders
