Job Description

The 92 Force Support Squadron, located at Alder House on Fairchild Air Force Base in Washington, is seeking a dedicated and skilled bartender to join their team in a Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) position. Job Requirements

Experience mixing and serving beverages including alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks
Ability to follow cash handling procedures
Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and take appropriate action
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods
Capability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds
Proof of eligibility if applying under preference categories
Open to all applicants, including veterans and military spouses
Education does not substitute for experience

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of a wide variety of beverages and drink mixing techniques
Ability to follow cash handling procedures accurately
Experience recognizing and managing intoxicated or unruly patrons
Strong customer service skills
Ability to maintain inventory accountability
Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
Physical capability to stand for long periods and lift moderate to heavy objects

Job Duties

Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages from a full service bar
Follow cash handling procedures
Recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve problems or seek assistance
Maintain proper operation of the bar including receipts and inventory accountability
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the bar area
Provide excellent customer service to all patrons
Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines related to beverage service
