Job Requirements
- Able to operate blenders, frozen drink machines and other bar equipment
- stands during entire shift
- frequent immersion of hands in water every five minutes
- ability to wipe down tabletops, table legs, pick up debris off floor and wipe down booth seats in all areas of the restaurant
- transports glass racks cases up to 25 pounds such as a case of beer up to 15 times per shift
- reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required
- must have ability to remain stationary for long periods of up to four hours in length
- must be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as bartender, mixologist preferred but not required
- ability to operate various bar equipment
- good verbal communication skills
- basic math, reading, and writing skills
- ability to stand for long periods
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- knowledge of beverage preparation and safety standards
Job Duties
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following Applebee's specifications
- operate blenders, frozen drink machines, and other bar equipment
- maintain cleanliness of the bar area including wiping down tabletops, table legs, booth seats, and picking up debris
- engage with guests to enhance their dining experience
- transport glass racks and cases weighing up to 25 pounds multiple times per shift
- stand for the entire shift while maintaining efficient service
- comply with all health and safety regulations
