Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree
Minimum two years related bartending experience
Experience in a golf club-like environment preferred
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Strong communication skills
Highly organized
Flexible and adaptable
Ability to remain calm during peak hours
Comfortable upselling
Knowledge of food and beverage handling regulations
Ability to use POS system
Ability to use employee self-service HR/payroll database
Valid driver's license
Unexpired Arizona food and liquor certifications
Must be at least 19 years of age
Regular attendance
Ability to work weekends and holidays
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum two years related bartending experience and or training preferred
Experience in a golf club-like environment preferred
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and other restaurant staff
Strong communication skills including effective listening
Highly organized to manage multiple guests
Flexible and adaptable to changes
Ability to remain calm during peak hours or challenging guests
Comfortable in upselling
Demonstrated working knowledge of food and beverage handling regulations
Ability to use Point of Sale (POS) System
Ability to use employee self-service on company human resources payroll database
Must have valid driver's license
Unexpired Arizona food and liquor certifications
Must meet age requirements to handle and serve alcoholic beverages
Must be at least 19 years of age

Job Duties

Greet guests and members in a warm and friendly manner
Answer questions about alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Make recommendations based on customer preferences
Provide information about clubhouse events and promotions
Check identification to verify legal drinking age and refuse service to intoxicated individuals professionally
Take orders accurately through the POS system
Suggest additional items to increase revenue
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Keep the bar area clean and well-maintained
Perform opening and closing cleaning and sanitizing duties
Handle payment processing accurately and timely
Balance cash drawer at the end of the shift
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of beverages and bar supplies
Participate in pre-shift meetings, taste tests, and training
Follow safety standards and good personal hygiene guidelines
