Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Must possess valid Indiana Server Liquor License and Indiana Excise training certificate
  • Must pass background check and credit screening
  • Ability to stoop, lift, walk and stand for long periods
  • Ability to lift 30 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Basic working knowledge of concession/cafeteria operations
  • Ability to follow directions and effectively perform work
  • Valid Indiana Server Liquor License
  • Certificate of completion of Indiana Excise training courses

Job Duties

  • Read banquet event order and complete bar set-up
  • Set bar(s) or bar station in assigned area correctly and uniformly
  • Keep station neat and clean while servicing guests per established policies and procedures
  • Properly account for all bar stock on bar sheets including opening and closing inventory and recording waste/spoilage
  • Monitor, control and restock bar stock in liquor control rooms
  • Greet and serve guests following beverage service guidelines
  • Maintain accurate accounting of inventory on assigned bar
  • Learn and operate a point of sale system
  • Perform location worker assignments
  • Maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area
  • Plan for daily sales flow based on projections
  • Organize all paperwork for cashier responsibilities including physical inventory stand sheet
  • Verify proper item prices on the beverage menu
  • Follow all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage
  • Work varying hours including days, nights, weekdays, and weekends
  • Perform other duties as assigned
