Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience required
  • TIPS or CARE beverage service certification desired or ability to obtain
  • must have one or more years of previous bartending experience or Bartender certification
  • must have demonstrated exemplary customer service, attention to detail, and ability to perform job duties in a repetitious and fast paced environment
  • must have the ability to speak, understand, and write English in order to meet guest's needs and complete required paperwork
  • ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds on a regular basis throughout shift, and up to 75 pounds on an occasional basis
  • requires ability to complete physically demanding responsibilities such as walking, standing, carrying, and moving about the property continuously throughout the shift
  • prefer one or more years of previous bartending experience and Bartender certification

Job Duties

  • Greet all guests in a courteous and friendly manner
  • accurately and quickly take, prepare and deliver beverage orders according to standards
  • respond to guests needs and provide the highest level of quality service
  • handle cash and point of sale procedures to ensure accurate closing of guest checks
  • dispense appropriate levels of alcohol and prepare drinks to recipe and brand standards
  • monitor guests identification and consumption to comply with liquor laws
  • prepare standard menu options when needed
  • assist other associates to meet guest needs
  • dispose of garbage, pick up trays, restock barware, and clean the bar
  • transfer dirty glassware to the dish room and polish clean glassware
  • complete all required paperwork and inventory accurately and timely
  • maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with regulations
  • manage workload by planning and prioritizing duties
  • adhere to grooming and appearance standards
  • complete required side work and actively contribute to team success
