Job Requirements
- Hold a current food handler card
- knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations
- basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation
- basic mathematical skills for cash handling and portion control
- basic English language writing and communication skills
- sufficient manual dexterity to prepare garnishes and mix drinks
- ability to comprehend and apply written product instructions
- ability to operate beverage equipment such as coffee maker
- physical ability to transport up to 30 pounds
- ability to stand and walk continuously throughout shift
- maintain neat and well-groomed appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in beverage service or hospitality preferred
- knowledge of food safety and health standards
- familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- teamwork and collaboration skills
- strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
- promote and document orders for drinks
- mix, garnish and present drinks using standard recipes
- maintain daily bar setup including requisitioning and stocking
- cut and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes
- handle cash transactions and balance cash bank
- lock up and secure beverages and cash deposits
- answer bar phone and take room service orders
- input orders into the register at point of sale
- perform general cleaning tasks as assigned
- adhere to company policies and safety procedures
- report unsafe conditions and incidents to supervisor
- maintain neat and clean appearance
- assist other beverage personnel when needed
- perform related duties as requested by supervisor or manager
