Job Requirements

Be of legal age to serve alcohol
possess valid health and/or alcohol compliance certification
ability to stand and walk for extended periods
capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
possess basic math, reading, and computer skills
demonstrate excellent communication
follow company safety and sanitation protocols
able to multitask and work under pressure
maintain professional appearance
adhere to company rules and procedures

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
previous experience as a bartender or in customer service preferred
excellent communication skills
knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits
ability to use point of sale systems
strong organizational skills

familiarity with alcohol service laws

Job Duties

Communicate enthusiastically with guests
make guests feel appreciated
work as a team to maintain an efficient environment
mix, garnish, and serve drinks according to recipes
complete pre-work following company guidelines
ring in all drink orders accurately
arrange bottles and glasses attractively
wash and sterilize glassware
assist in maintaining bar equipment
be attentive and proactive
count drinks served
anticipate guest needs
follow responsible alcohol service protocols
suggest selling drinks
place orders on handheld computer
complete side work assigned
clear and reset tables timely
approach customers within one minute
check identification for age
manage cash bank accurately
generate guest checks
use proper measuring tools
attend alcohol awareness programs
maintain cleanliness
serve drinks on trays
address customer complaints promptly
assist with bussing duties
comply with company policies
complete additional duties as assigned
