Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a beverage service role preferred
Hold a current Food Handler Card
Knowledge of liquor laws and regulations
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
Basic math and English skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Maintain a neat and professional appearance

Job Qualifications

Knowledge of state, federal and corporate liquor regulations
Hold a current Food Handler Card
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation
Basic mathematical skills to operate cash register and make change
Basic English language writing skills
Manual dexterity in hands for garnishing and mixing
Basic English language knowledge for communication
Ability to comprehend and apply written product instructions
Ability to remember and promote menu items
Ability to operate beverage equipment

Job Duties

Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner
Promote and document orders for drinks
Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard recipes
Maintain proper and adequate bar set-up daily
Requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, and supplies
Cut and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes
Receive cash from guests and make change
Verify validity of charges and record transactions
Lock up and store beverages, food and equipment items
Answer bar phone and take room service orders
Input orders into register and create checks
Perform general cleaning to adhere to health standards
Adhere to company policies and procedures
Follow safety and security procedures
Know department fire prevention and emergency procedures
Utilize protective equipment
Report unsafe conditions and accidents
Maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
Perform related duties as requested by supervisor
Assist other beverage personnel when needed
