Job Requirements

  • Must have previous bartending experience

  • Ability to work 2nd shift hours

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Previous bartending experience
  • Knowledge of alcohol and drink ingredients
  • Ability to follow health department and AHC specs
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and complete side work tasks
  • Positive and courteous attitude
  • Punctual and reliable attendance
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Proper grooming and professional appearance
  • Knowledge of menu items including happy hour and specials
  • Familiarity with safe alcohol service and TIPS certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Perform bartending service including proper set up of garnishes, alcohol, wines
  • Maintain daily setup and breakdown of the bar area
  • Stay informed about local events and provide suggestions to guests
  • Follow and maintain health department standards including temperature logs and product rotation
  • Strive to exceed guest satisfaction and provide best possible service
  • Participate in department meetings and communicate effectively with management and staff
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and bar
  • Attend TIPS training and properly card guests
  • Assist in drink preparation when bartender not present
  • Communicate daily drink specials with restaurant staff
  • Participate in nightly ordering of alcohol and wines
  • Take part in month end inventories with accounting
  • Monitor food and alcohol waste
  • Actively work in designated restaurant areas including counter service, running food, and table service
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by General Manager or Food and Beverage Manager
