Job Requirements

  • should possess good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine

  • must adhere to safe food handling and safety guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • one year experience in foodservice or hospitality as a bartender preferred
  • good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine
  • experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred
  • must be of minimum legal age to serve alcohol
  • superior professional appearance and manner
  • ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • ability to obtain relevant state and local certifications such as food handlers certificate and alcohol training

Job Duties

  • assist guests in beverage and drink preparation
  • service the bar area and restaurant efficiently and timely
  • engage with guests to assess satisfaction and preferences
  • maintain comprehensive knowledge of drink offerings to aid guests in selections
  • contribute to food and beverage sales by promoting menu items and specials
  • accurately take and place orders using Micros system
  • prepare guest checks accurately and collect payment or signatures
  • operate, maintain, and clean all bar equipment and fittings
  • ensure the bar is well-stocked at all times
  • apply safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment
