Job Requirements
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and split shifts
- consistently arrive to work on time
- wear a proper, clean, and well-maintained uniform
- maintain clean and styled hair approved by management
- attend all required training and safety courses including TIPS certification
- report and assist in resolving safety hazards
- prepare drinks according to standardized recipes
- keep bar area clean and organized
- know types of wines and proper presentations
- engage in suggestive selling and upselling
- perform assigned side work
- keep work area and tables clean
- prepare and store fruit mixes following health standards
- stock and sanitize glassware
- manage inventory and order stock
- attend pre-shift meetings
- greet guests promptly with a smile
- accurately operate POS system
- assist in achieving budgeted liquor costs
- perform additional duties as assigned by management
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in hospitality or bar service preferred but not required
- ability to work well in a team and fast-paced environment
- excellent customer service skills
- willingness to learn and attend training sessions
- strong communication skills
- proficiency in point-of-sale systems
- knowledge of alcohol safety and service procedures
- physical ability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks
Job Duties

- maintain clean and well-groomed hair with management approval

- report and assist in correcting safety hazards
- become TIPS certified for serving alcohol
- make drinks according to standardized recipes
- learn proper abbreviations and prices
- maintain a clean and clutter-free bar area
- learn types of wines and proper food pairings
- employ suggestive selling and upselling techniques
- perform opening and closing side work
- keep tables, ashtrays, and work area neat
- prepare, label, store, and rotate fruit mixes following health standards
- stock, clean, and sanitize glassware
- receive stock and order liquor
- attend pre-shift meetings
- greet members and guests immediately with a smile
- operate POS system accurately
- maintain organized and sanitary bar
- manage liquor costs to meet budget
- perform other duties as assigned by management
