Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience as a bartender or in customer service preferred
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- able to stand and move for extended periods
- strong interpersonal skills
- must pass background check and comply with all ABC and Smith standards
Job Qualifications
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- computer literacy
- positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- ability to keep bar organized, stocked, and impeccable
- ability to multitask and move with urgency and intention in a fast-paced environment
- able to lift 20 to 50 pounds
- able to stand, walk (up and down flights of stairs), reach, for 100 percent of work time
- move around 160 pound kegs
Job Duties
- Preparing alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and patrons
- interacting with customers, taking orders, and serving snacks and drinks
- assessing bar customers' needs and preferences and making recommendations
- promoting programming and special events
- sharing the story of sister restaurants with their guests
- checking identification up to ABC and Smith standards
- restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies
- complying with all food and beverage regulations
- processing payments
- properly clocking in and out for shift at kiosk terminal
