Job Requirements
- Meet minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages
- Complete a pre-employment physical
- Ability to lift and move 5 to 40 pounds as required
- Obtain Food Handler's Certificate or complete food handler training
- Satisfactorily complete a Tier 1 background investigation
- Provide proof of eligibility for preference categories by closing date
- Submit relevant resume describing experience clearly
- Provide transcripts for educational qualifications if applicable
Job Qualifications
- Experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale
- Knowledge of a wide variety of beverages and mixing ingredients
- Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolve or seek assistance
- Ability to follow cash handling procedures
- Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 40 pounds
- Ability to obtain Food Handler's Certificate or complete training
- Clear communication skills and proficiency in public interaction
- Successful completion of a Tier 1 background check
Job Duties
- Mix alcoholic beverages for retail sale including classic and exotic drinks
- Recognize and manage intoxicated or unruly patrons
- Follow and enforce cash handling procedures
- Perform frequent lifting and moving of objects weighing up to 40 pounds
- Communicate clearly and professionally with patrons
- Complete Food Handler's Certificate and adhere to food safety standards
- Successfully complete a Tier 1 background investigation
