Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bartending experience preferred
Ability to memorize and prepare a variety of drink recipes
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Basic math skills for handling transactions
Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the bar area
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Legal age to serve alcoholic beverages

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar role preferred
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to memorize drink recipes and handle multiple orders simultaneously
Basic math skills for handling cash and processing payments
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to beverage service
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and a friendly demeanor

Job Duties

Take beverage orders from guests and servers
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with the facilities standard drink recipes
Learn the names and personally recognize our regulars
Record drink orders accurately and immediately after receipt into the register system
Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change if applicable
Wash and sterilize glassware
Prepare garnishes for drinks and replenish snacks, appetizers for bar patrons
Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages
Clear and reset tables in bar area
Present drink menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding beverages
Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas
Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar
Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the manager
Assist the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the facility as directed by the Bar manager or immediate supervisor
Maintain a positive attitude and always smile
