Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in bartending or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • Strong knowledge of liquor types drink recipes and bar operations
  • Proficient in cash handling and point-of-sale systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must obtain liquor liability training within 30 days of hire

  • Experience as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role
  • Knowledge of various types of liquor and drink recipes
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems such as MICROS
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to handle cash and financial transactions accurately
  • Formal training or willingness to obtain training in liquor liability
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition
  • Be completely familiar with different kinds of liquor recipes and prices of drinks as well as proper glassware and garnishes
  • Know drink recipes prices and types of beverages available
  • Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures including proper discounting MICROS system bank procedures and tip policies
  • Accurately charge guests for drinks and ensure correct intake of all monies
  • Anticipate guest needs respond promptly and acknowledge all guests maintaining positive guest relations
  • Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
