Job Requirements
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Basic mathematical skills to operate cash register and manage transactions
- Ability to communicate in basic English
- Ability to remember and promote menu items
- Ability to operate point of sale systems
- Sufficient manual dexterity to prepare cocktails
- Physically able to perform tasks including standing, lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work under mentally and physically stressful situations
Job Qualifications
- Professional and energetic
- High school education or equivalent is preferred
- At least one year of bar experience
- Knowledge of spirits and wine
- Ability to create craft artisan cocktails and specialty drinks
- Hotel experience preferred
Job Duties
- Make cocktails and provide exceptional guest experiences
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking supplies
- Maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables daily
- Greet guests courteously, promote and document drink orders, mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
- Adhere to all state, federal, and corporate alcohol service regulations
- Input orders into register and create guest checks to ensure accountability
- Receive cash payments, provide correct change, verify and record charges, ensure proper voucher execution
- Lock and store all beverage, food, and equipment items, deposit cash drops, and secure bank
- Comply with attendance rules and be regularly available to work
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
