Job Requirements

  • Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Basic mathematical skills to operate cash register and manage transactions
  • Ability to communicate in basic English
  • Ability to remember and promote menu items
  • Ability to operate point of sale systems
  • Sufficient manual dexterity to prepare cocktails
  • Physically able to perform tasks including standing, lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work under mentally and physically stressful situations

Job Qualifications

  • Professional and energetic
  • High school education or equivalent is preferred
  • At least one year of bar experience
  • Knowledge of spirits and wine
  • Ability to create craft artisan cocktails and specialty drinks
  • Hotel experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Make cocktails and provide exceptional guest experiences
  • Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar daily including requisitioning and stocking supplies
  • Maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables daily
  • Greet guests courteously, promote and document drink orders, mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard recipes and portion control
  • Adhere to all state, federal, and corporate alcohol service regulations
  • Input orders into register and create guest checks to ensure accountability
  • Receive cash payments, provide correct change, verify and record charges, ensure proper voucher execution
  • Lock and store all beverage, food, and equipment items, deposit cash drops, and secure bank
  • Comply with attendance rules and be regularly available to work
  • Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
