Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- able to work in environments with both hot and cold temperatures such as freezers and around cooking equipment
- able to work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
- able to read and write handwritten notes
- able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- able to move about facility and stand for long periods of time
- able to walk or stand 100% of shift
- able to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
Job Qualifications
- Restaurant and/or bar experience preferred but not required
- must be skilled in effectively communicating with guests in order to generate enthusiasm about the D&B experience
- must be able to read and communicate in English
- must be friendly and able to smile frequently
- must be at least 18 years of age
- able to work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
- able to follow company sanitation procedures
- able to handle financial transactions accurately
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to company sanitation procedures
- maintain responsibility for personal bank and ensure all financial transactions are accurate by operating credit card machines correctly, calculating and returning appropriate change, and maintaining adequate cash and coin for making change
- follow alcohol awareness procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests
- assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
- follow all bar recipes to deliver a consistent product, control costs, and maximize guest satisfaction
- keep station clean, set up and take down station tables appropriately
- greet newly seated guests in a friendly and timely manner
- accurately take guests' food and drink orders
- maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and be able to answer questions regarding food and drink items and their preparation
- enter orders into Micros quickly and in proper sequence, using appropriate modifications and charges
- be responsible for all sales on personal Micros keys and completing station side work at the beginning and end of their shift
- demonstrate ability to operate Micros, make changes, accurately conduct credit card transactions, and account of all monies at the end of each shift
- ensure food is properly garnished and deliver trays to the designated bar areas, as well as other sections in the restaurant, as needed
- work quickly and efficiently adhering to "Full hands in, Full hands out" philosophy
- participate in all incentives and contests, driving sales and promoting the brand
- complete bar inventories and daily requisition sheets as requested and required
- complete opening/closing duties in a timely manner
- assist in party set up and breakdown
- assist other team members as needed or as business dictates
- buss and reset tables as needed
- ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after delivery of food, maintaining drink levels, removing clutter, pre-bussing as necessary, and responding to guest needs in a timely manner
- maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company team members to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate and help keep high morale, productivity and efficiency/effectiveness
- listen to hear guests' orders and needs, and then communicate with guests verbally and with other team members verbally via Micros system
- be friendly and able to smile frequently
- be skilled in effectively communicating with guests in order to generate enthusiasm about the D&B experience
- be able to read and communicate in English
- be dressed in proper dress code requirements, looking neat, clean and professional at all times
- work in noisy, fast paced environment with distracting conditions
- be at least 18 years of age
