Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work days, nights, and weekends as required
- Must be able to stand or walk 100% of shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Must be able to work in hot and cold environments
- Must be able to read and write handwritten notes
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
- Ability to work effectively in a noisy, fast-paced environment
- Must be able to smile frequently and communicate clearly
- Compliance with company sanitation and alcohol awareness procedures
Job Qualifications
- Ability to operate Micros system and handle financial transactions
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- Friendly and approachable personality
- Knowledge of menu items and food/drink preparation
- Ability to work cooperatively with a diverse team
- Experience in restaurant or bar preferred but not required
- Must be able to read and communicate in English
- Ability to follow sanitation and alcohol service procedures
- Must adhere to company dress code and maintain professional appearance
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in a fun environment
- Keep supervisor informed of problems or significant issues
- Create a warm and fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- Adhere to company sanitation procedures
- Maintain personal bank and ensure accurate financial transactions
- Follow alcohol awareness procedures
- Assess guest demeanor and report to manager as needed
- Follow bar recipes for consistency and cost control
- Keep station clean and set up tables appropriately
- Greet guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu items and preparation
- Enter orders into Micros system
- Complete sales and station side work during shifts
- Operate Micros and handle cash and credit transactions accurately
- Ensure proper food garnishing and deliver trays
- Work efficiently following full hands in, full hands out philosophy
- Participate in sales incentives and contests
- Complete bar inventories and requisition sheets
- Perform opening and closing duties
- Assist in party setup and breakdown
- Support other team members as needed
- Buss and reset tables
- Check back with guests after delivery and respond to needs
- Maintain cooperative and harmonious working relationships
- Communicate effectively with guests and team
- Smile frequently and be friendly
- Work in noisy, fast-paced environments
- Generate enthusiasm for the Dave & Buster's experience
