Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- prior bar service experience required
- reliable transportation required
- ability to read, write, and perform basic math
- high school degree or GED preferred
- ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
- ability to follow manager instructions
- ability to communicate professionally
- ability to stand and move for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to work in wet and loud conditions
Job Qualifications
- Friendly and engaging demeanor
- 21+ years old
- prior bar service experience
- ServeSafe Alcohol Certification is a plus
- reading, writing, basic math, and verbal communication skills required
- bilingual experience is a plus
- high school degree or GED preferred

Job Duties
- Serves food and drinks to guests in a courteous and timely manner
- mixes ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, and fruit juice to prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to Applebee's standards
- interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
- greets guests, answers questions, makes suggestions regarding food, drinks, and menu options
- completes assigned opening and closing side work
- slices fruit and vegetable garnishes for drinks
- presents guest checks to bar patrons and processes payments accurately
- processes employee and manager food orders
- relays food orders to kitchen via the point-of-sale computerized register system promptly and accurately
- manages service of alcohol according to all state and federal laws and company policies
- participates in clearing and resetting the bar
- may occasionally serve guests in a Carside To-Go program
- maintains a clean and organized work area
- explains and demonstrates usage of tabletop electronic devices to customers
- drives sales with suggestive selling techniques to enhance customer experiences
- participates in local store marketing initiatives to increase bar traffic
- removes trash and garbage from the bar service area to the dumpster
