Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- must be at least 18 years of age
- ServSafe certified (food and alcohol) or TIPS equivalent
- ability to frequently stand, walk, talk, listen and use hands
- ability to regularly reach with hands and arms
- ability to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crawl, crouch
- ability to taste, smell and sit
- ability to frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- meet state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and/or training
- ServSafe certified (food and alcohol) or TIPS equivalent
- experience in restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems such as POSITOUCH and MICROS preferred
- knowledge of wine, spirits, beer and current trends
- knowledge of cocktail recipes
- professional and courteous demeanor

- exceptional personal hygiene
- fluent in English speaking, writing and understanding
- meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
Job Duties
- Stocks bar
- mixes and serves alcoholic beverages
- assists in cost control, inventory and maintaining inventory records
- assists department leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menu
- assists department leaders with social media schedule and creation of content
- maintains inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products
- communicates with management in a timely manner when supplies are needed
- ensures compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures
- communicates guest requests and concerns to the department manager
- performs opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking
- accountable for checks and cash transactions
- utilizes point of sales system
- reviews banquet schedule and calendar of events for changes
- serves catered parties from service or portable bars
- occasionally serves meals to guests
- incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- maintains regular and reliable attendance
- performs other duties as required
