Job Requirements

  • At least 2 years of bartending experience preferred
  • RBS and food handlers certified
  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • must be organized and able to multi-task
  • basic math and computer skills
  • possess an energetic, positive attitude and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team environment
  • able to communicate with individuals from different backgrounds, using strong interpersonal skills
  • ability to learn the menu thoroughly and answer food and beverage related questions from guests
  • able to work in a standing position for extended periods of time
  • can perform high quality work while unsupervised
  • able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food and other items
  • follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
  • maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by business demands
  • willingly perform other reasonable tasks and duties as assigned by Management

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Greet guests with a warm welcome and a fond farewell
  • engage them in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
  • provide exceptional guest hospitality and service to ensure guests enjoy their experience
  • learn and maintain expert knowledge of the food, wine, and beverage menus, along with general restaurant/property knowledge
  • able to answer guest questions and provide recommendations
  • follow all steps of service as defined by company SOPs
  • take guest food and/or beverage orders, input orders into point-of-sale (POS) system
  • handle cash and credit card transactions, ensure charges are accurate and maintain a balanced cash bank
  • suggestively upsell menu items, specials, beverages, and desserts to enhance profitability
  • selecting and mixing ingredients, garnishing glasses, and offering customized beverage recommendations
  • familiar with the latest in mixology, bar equipment and sanitation standards with the focus on maintaining a clean and attractive bar
  • address and resolve any guest complaints
  • notify management ASAP about any unresolved guest complaints that they need to handle
  • always maintain a composed and professional attitude
  • become familiar with all returning guests, know their preferences and special requests
  • perform other related duties that may be assigned by Management
