Job Requirements

Ability to take written and verbal direction in English
Ability to speak English clearly
Ability to mix a wide variety of drinks
Ability to operate machines and equipment such as cash registers, dishwashers, and ovens
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to diplomatically handle difficult situations and people
Ability to open and close the bar
Ability to obtain supplies necessary for cocktail preparation
Ability to maintain cleanliness of assigned areas
Ability to move efficiently in the bar area
Ability to distinguish currency denominations and make change
Ability to prepare food
Ability to work independently or in teams
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
Ability to obtain and maintain certifications per company requirements

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bartending or food service experience preferred
Ability to mix various cocktails and operate bar equipment

Ability to handle cash and make accurate change
Ability to work independently and in a team
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Open and close the hotel bar following company policies
Maintain a clean and organized bar and food preparation area
Mix a wide variety of drinks for guests
Operate bar equipment including cash registers and dishwashers
Provide excellent customer service and address guest inquiries
Handle cash and make change accurately
Obtain and maintain necessary certifications
Communicate effectively with guests and team members
