Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in bartending or related customer service role
  • Knowledge of various liquor types, drink recipes and bar equipment
  • Ability to handle financial transactions accurately
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capable of working flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment

  • Enjoy working as part of a team providing great experiences for guests
  • Formal training on liquor liability within 30 days of employment
  • Familiarity with MICROS system or similar point of sale systems
  • Previous bartending experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Efficiently maintain bar supplies including preparation of daily requisition as necessary
  • Be completely familiar with all kinds of liquor, recipes, prices of drinks, proper glassware used for each recipe and garnishes needed
  • Know drink recipes, prices and types of beverages available
  • Be familiar with accurate cash handling procedures including proper discounting, MICROS system or registers, bank procedures and tip policies
  • Accurately charge guests for drinks and manage intake of all monies
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests maintaining positive guest relations
  • Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction in each interaction
  • Be formally trained regarding liquor liability within 30 days of employment and every 2 years thereafter
