Job Requirements

Reliable transportation or plan to relocate to Greensboro, NC
Minimum one year of bartending experience preferred
Ability to lift 20-40 pounds regularly
Ability to read and speak English
Availability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods
Compliance with facility and client policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bartending experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Knowledge of alcohol safety and responsible serving practices
Excellent customer service skills
Physical ability to perform duties including lifting and standing for long periods
Understanding of sanitation and safety standards in hospitality settings
Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Read and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEO) and set up portable banquet bars
Ensure no guests underage are served drinks
Apply knowledge of alcohol safety and responsible serving guidelines
Prepare garnishes and necessary tools for complete bar setup
Maintain neatness and cleanliness of service stations following sanitation guidelines
Greet and serve guests with excellent customer service using appropriate language
Remain attentive to guest needs without appearing rushed
Know liquors and beverages served and offer alternatives
Speak and read English proficiently
Solicit and accept tips only where permitted
Lift, push, and carry 20-40 pounds such as bars, dish carts, glass racks, liquor boxes
Bend, kneel, and maneuver in narrow spaces between guests
Stand continuously during shifts
Follow client and facility standards such as smoking, parking, and grooming rules
Wear appropriate uniform for all events
Adapt to varying scheduled workdays, times, and breaks
