Job Qualifications

  • previous barista and bartending experience
  • corporate, hotel, or upscale experience preferred
  • strong understanding of espresso preparation, milk texturing, and coffee service standards
  • knowledge of cocktail techniques, spirits, wine, and beer
  • excellent communication skills with a guest-first mindset
  • ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced yet professional environment

  • all required certifications for the City of Chicago must be obtained prior to starting work

Job Duties

  • prepare and serve espresso beverages, coffee, cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic drinks with accuracy and consistency
  • deliver warm, attentive, and engaging service to corporate tenants and guests throughout the day
  • maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked café and bar environment
  • follow all safety, sanitation, and Illinois liquor compliance standards
  • assist with opening and closing duties, including restocking and light cleaning
  • support overall café operations, including light food service and collaboration with teammates
  • assist with execution of larger events and activations across accounts as needed
  • uphold the professionalism and service standards of the space at all times
  • communicate proactively with the General Manager regarding inventory needs and reorders
  • assist with monthly inventory counts and organization as needed
