Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- previous experience in a customer-facing role preferred
- ability to operate POS and coffee-making equipment
- excellent communication skills
- ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- willingness to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties
- Accurately take and confirm guest food and beverage orders (including special instructions and/or restrictions)
- prepare and serve coffee, espresso, other beverages (including component ingredients) and serve to guests
- process payments and balance all sales/receipts in compliance with restaurant policies and procedures, including reconciling and maintaining the security of the cash drawer
- accurately, promptly, efficiently and safely assemble and transport food and beverage orders to indoor and outdoor guests (including guests in vehicles in locations offering drive-thru service)
- sell and accurately account for gift cards
- available to work a variety of hours, days and shifts, including weekends
- safely and effectively move chairs, tables, highchairs and booster seats
- safely and effectively use and operate all necessary tools and equipment, including knives, coffee makers, grinders and a cappuccino/espresso machine
- ability to effectively communicate in order to perform and follow job requirements in written and spoken direction
- ability to multitask calmly and effectively in a busy, stressful environment
- work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels
- able to move and lift up to 10 pounds, frequently move and/or lift up to 25 pounds, and occasionally move and/or lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand and walk for an entire shift and move safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven or slick surfaces
