Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, previous experience in food service or customer service preferred, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, proficiency with POS systems and cash handling, knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service preferred, ability to work varied shifts including weekends, demonstrated ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures, team-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Accurately take and confirm guest food and beverage orders, prepare and serve coffee, espresso and other beverages, process payments and balance all sales and receipts, assemble and transport food and beverage orders to guests, sell and account for gift cards accurately, work a variety of shifts including weekends, safely move chairs, tables, highchairs and booster seats, operate necessary tools and equipment such as coffee makers and espresso machines, communicate effectively following job requirements, multitask calmly in a busy environment, work in a confined, crowded space with variable noise and temperature, lift and move weights up to 50 pounds, stand and walk for entire shifts, ensure overall guest experience exceeds expectations, greet guests warmly, handle guest challenges with patience and courtesy, provide knowledgeable responses about menu and restaurant, use sales techniques to promote current offers, follow steps of service and food allergy procedures, operate POS and payment terminals, comply with safety and sanitation guidelines, follow company policies and handbook, be a team player, perform other assigned duties as needed
