Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shifts
- Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to safely operate tools and equipment including coffee makers and grinders
- Flexibility to work weekends and varied hours
- Ability to work in busy, noisy, and confined spaces
- Strong customer service orientation and patience in handling guest issues
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
- Capability to multitask calmly and efficiently in a busy environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Familiarity with POS systems and payment processing
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Accurately take and confirm guest food and beverage orders including special instructions and restrictions
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and other beverages including component ingredients
- Process payments and balance all sales/receipts in compliance with restaurant policies, including reconciling and maintaining the cash drawer security
- Assemble and transport food and beverage orders to indoor and outdoor guests including drive-thru service
- Sell and accurately account for gift cards
- Work a variety of hours, days and shifts including weekends
- Safely and effectively move chairs, tables, highchairs and booster seats
