Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum of six months related customer service and barista experience
- availability to work flexible shifts between 12 pm and 2 am including weekdays, weekends and holidays
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- excellent communication skills
- ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems
- strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- positive attitude and team player mentality
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of six months customer service experience
- minimum of six months barista experience
- excellent organizational skills
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work flexible shifts including weekdays, weekends and holidays
- warm and outgoing personality
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- commitment to delivering outstanding customer service
- ability to maintain cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards
- understanding of beverage preparation according to recipes
Job Duties
- Greet guests and respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- brew, sell, promote and prepare beverages according to established recipes and standards
- take guest beverage and food orders and accurately input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system
- maintain cleanliness of work area/outlet
- accurately total, process and collect payments from guests including using point-of-sale system, handling money, processing credit and debit cards, making change and processing gift certificates and cards
- requisition, stock and rotate products
- secure and store all beverages, food and other equipment items
- deposit cash drops, secure and balance bank and sign out/in keys
