Job Requirements
- minimum age to serve alcohol
- clean, organized, and able to work well in a team
- speak, read, write, and understand the primary workplace language
- basic computational ability
- complete knowledge of POS system
- ability to communicate effectively with management, guests, and staff
- ability to stand and move for at least 8 hours
- ability to lift trays and push/pull carts weighing up to 250 lbs
- able to work in moderate to extreme temperatures
- manual dexterity for operating equipment
- comply with federal, state, county, and municipal regulations
- maintain good grooming and required uniform and tools
Job Qualifications
- minimum 3-4 years of fine dining mixology experience
- knowledge of food and beverage service with at least 2 years of dining room experience
- extensive food and wine knowledge
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to operate POS system and basic computer skills
- strong verbal and written communication skills
- familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- excellent basic math skills
- knowledge of table settings and service ware
- ability to use suggestive selling techniques
- dedicated to learning and progressing in fine dining
- impeccably groomed with good hygiene and posture
- ability to explain and demonstrate job knowledge and skills
Job Duties
- sell, prepare, and serve all beverages, wine, and food
- oversee bar maintenance
- make menu suggestions
- deliver food and drinks
- describe offerings to guests
- recommend wine selections
- monitor guest satisfaction
- manage inventory
- assist the front of house team with all elements of service
- greet and know guests and VIPs
- cooperate with other baristas and managers to execute service
- communicate VIP procedures and special requests with management and chef
- conduct continuous training for service team and new hires
- participate in pre-shift meetings
- take beverage and food orders
- provide setups and service for guests dining at the bar
- coordinate transfers with manager and server team
- welcome guests and ensure professional service
- develop rapport with guests
- answer questions about menu, wine, and food items
- liaise with server for guest needs
- ensure consistent preparation and service standards
- maintain a clean and safe bar environment
- comply with all health, safety, and labor regulations
