Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food handler certificate required
- Minimum one year of experience as a cashier
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Must speak, read, and understand English fluently and clearly
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and move approximately 15 pounds
- Ability to carry out safety and emergency procedures
- Ability to bend, squat, kneel, climb, and reach daily
- Ability to work in extreme temperature
- Ability to communicate clearly with guests
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to read and write effectively
- Ability to sustain direct contact with the public
- Must establish high customer service and interaction
- Ability to use point of sale equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Food handler certificate required
- Minimum one year experience as a cashier
- Prior customer service experience preferred
- Fluency in English
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of basic arithmetic
- Ability to perform repetitive motion and fine motor skills
- Ability to train new employees
Job Duties
- Prepare and serve hot or cold beverages such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas
- Serve and take orders for baked goods and sandwiches
- Describe menu items to guests and suggest appealing products
- Order, receive, and stock supplies and retail products
- Provide room service for guests
- Utilize point of sale equipment effectively
- Maintain cleanliness and neatness of the store and workstation
- Assist in on-the-job training of new employees
- Alert management to operational needs and equipment issues
- Follow opening, closing, and shift-change procedures
