Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Willingness to comply with dress code and hygiene standards
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Job Qualifications
- Ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily
- Friendly and professional communication skills
- Experience in coffee brewing or similar role preferred
- Knowledge of cash handling procedures
- Ability to follow recipes and standards precisely
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization
- Teamwork and collaboration skills
- Physical ability to stand and walk up to 50% of the time
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally
- Comfortable working under strict sanitary guidelines
Job Duties
- Brew Barista coffee along with flavor of the day coffee
- Make specialty drinks to order following all Parkhurst recipes
- Price and stock all grab and go items
- Adhere to all cash handling procedures
- Stock coffee bean bins and keep them full at all times
- Interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Merchandise area using Barista signage and other approved materials
- Follow cleaning schedule using clean as you go techniques
- Maintain an open line of communication with management about products and supplies needed
- Follow uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene
- Follow all Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards and use Smile Plus hospitality imperatives
- Assist fellow team members at every opportunity
- Perform any other duties assigned by management
