Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for handling cash
  • Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and procedures
  • Positive attitude and team player mindset
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to company systems and tools

Job Duties

  • Maintain the register and properly handle cash
  • Enter tips, place orders accurately, and keep a balanced drawer
  • Work closely with other staff to create a steady flow of service
  • Communicate any needs and stay close to the register
  • Create all of Bottega Louie’s coffees and teas for the market and café
  • Responsible for abiding by Bottega Louie recipe standards, sanitation standards, and maintaining speed of service
  • Barista makes every drink with care and to the guests’ likings
  • Keep a well stocked and organized work station and communicate any needs to utility or a manager
  • Keep a clean and well stocked market
  • Take out the trash, retrieve products, and restock
  • Properly store and rotate macrons
  • Assist with filling macaron trays and organizing macaron bins
  • Accurately describe all pastries and upsell to guests
  • Package all pastries for guests
  • Consolidate pastries and stock as needed
