Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred prior experience as a barista
- Ability to work full-time Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Must be able to perform food preparation duties
- Ability to maintain hygiene and follow safety standards
- Capability to handle cash and operate POS
- Must have reliable transportation to the Jacksonville location
- Willingness to adhere to company policies including a drug-free workplace
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience as a barista is preferred but not required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate POS systems accurately
- Knowledge of food safety regulations such as HACCP
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling payments
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain cleanliness standards
- Dependability and punctuality
Job Duties
- Prepare espresso orders for customers and catering services using standard recipes and measurements
- Enter orders accurately in the POS device
- accept cash and charge payments
- Restock condiments, beverages, and general supplies while maintaining a clean service area
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of appropriate service temperatures
- comply with HACCP standards
- Maintain hygiene and order of all equipment, supplies, and utensils
- Guarantee proper food preparation using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards
- Keep display equipment clean and free of debris during meal service
- Thoroughly clean equipment and workstations before leaving the area to perform other tasks
- Greet customers courteously and interact to ensure customer satisfaction
- Communicate relevant customer concerns to supervisors
- Serve customers promptly and efficiently, avoiding delays in service lines
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of daily menu items and accurately explain them to customers
- Advocate customer sales techniques by establishing good communication and assisting in purchase decision-making
- Ensure all displayed food is marketed attractively and serve food in an orderly and appealing manner according to standards
- Perform other assigned duties as necessary
