Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous barista or coffee service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of espresso equipment and coffee preparation methods preferred
  • Strong communication and guest service skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Food and alcohol service certifications required or ability to obtain
  • Availability to work mornings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, tea, and specialty beverages according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and presentation of all beverages
  • Demonstrate knowledge of coffee preparation methods, espresso extraction, and milk steaming
  • Maintain quality standards for taste, temperature, and appearance
  • Greet guests warmly and provide friendly, attentive service
  • Assist guests with menu selections and beverage recommendations
  • Maintain awareness of guest needs and respond promptly to requests
  • Operate point of sale systems accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar, equipment, and service areas
  • Follow opening and closing procedures and complete side work duties
  • Restock supplies and communicate inventory needs to leadership
  • Work collaboratively with cafe team members and leadership
  • Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude
  • Demonstrate reliability, efficiency, and attention to detail
  • Accept coaching and feedback to support continuous improvement
  • Follow all health, safety, sanitation, and food handling standards
  • Adhere to company policies and brand standards
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by senior leadership
  • Maintain availability for mornings, weekends, and holidays
