Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a customer service or cafe environment is an advantage
- Ability to use technology such as registers, tablets, and computer programs comfortably
- Strong merchandising and visual presentation skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Aptitude and willingness to learn new skills and procedures
- Ability to maintain a positive and cheerful demeanor under busy conditions
Job Duties
- Welcome customers cheerfully and answer their questions
- Connect readers with the right beverages and cafe items
- Maintain attractive presentation of the cafe
- Unpack and stock deliveries efficiently and accurately
- Operate registers quickly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakes case and dining area
- Support the bookfloor team when needed
