Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service or café experience preferred
- Ability to use technology such as registers and tablets
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new skills
- Positive and friendly attitude towards customers and colleagues
Job Duties
- Welcome customers cheerfully and assist with beverage and café item selection
- Maintain attractive presentation and cleanliness of the café
- Operate registers and technology efficiently to process transactions
- Unpack and stock deliveries accurately
- Prepare food and drinks properly according to recipe guides
- Perform daily and weekly cleaning tasks diligently
- Support loss prevention and de-escalation procedures
- Assist the bookstore floor team when needed
- Follow FIFO practices for product dating
