Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in food or beverage preparation preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and develop barista skills
Job Duties
- Greet customers cheerfully and assist with beverage and cafe item selections
- Operate registers efficiently ensuring fast and friendly customer service
- Prepare food and beverages accurately following recipes and standards
- Maintain cafe cleanliness and presentation including daily and weekly cleaning tasks
- Unpack, stock deliveries and ensure product freshness using First In First Out (FIFO) procedures
- Support bookfloor team as needed
- Understand and adhere to loss prevention and de-escalation protocols
