Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a customer service or cafe environment preferred
- Ability to work with varied technology including registers and tablets
- Strong merchandising and visual presentation skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to follow safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to work well in a team and assist colleagues
Job Duties
- Welcome customers cheerfully and assist with their beverage and cafe item choices
- Operate registers quickly and professionally ensuring excellent customer service
- Unpack, stock deliveries, and maintain cafe presentation and cleanliness
- Prepare food and drinks accurately using recipe guides and product information
- Execute daily and weekly cleaning tasks and maintain hygiene standards
- Support loss prevention procedures and handle de-escalation situations appropriately
- Collaborate effectively with bookfloor team and other store areas as needed
