Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a coffee shop or customer service role preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Basic math skills for payment processing
- Ability to stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to comply with health and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of coffee and tea preparation and brewing equipment (experience preferred, but not required)
- Ability to work various shifts (including mornings, evenings, and weekends)
- Strong attention to detail and an enthusiasm for learning
- Positive, friendly attitude and willingness to create a great guest experience
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere
- Provide drink menus, answer questions, and offer drink recommendations based on customer preferences
- Take orders and carefully note any specific preferences
- Prepare hot and cold drinks according to recipes and customer preferences
- Serve beverages promptly and with care
- Serve prepared food items such as cookies, pastries, and muffins
- Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) accurately
- Keep the bar area clean and organized throughout the shift
- Maintain stock of clean mugs, plates, and supplies
- Ensure that brewing equipment is functioning properly and report any maintenance issues
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and clean environment for staff and customers
- Communicate customer feedback to management and suggest new menu items or improvements
