Job Qualifications
- 1 year experience preferred
- Must maintain a friendly, professional demeanor and work effectively with all team members
- Demonstrates clear verbal, listening, and written communication to ensure smooth guest interactions and accurate information sharing
- Must be neat, clean, and well-groomed at all times to represent the establishment positively
- Familiar with the menu, preparation procedures, and pricing to answer guest questions confidently and accurately
- Ability to perform simple calculations for billing, change, and split checks accurately
Job Duties
- Prepare and execute all menu items according to established standards and instructions from culinary leadership
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times
- Assist with daily requisitions, ensuring proper rotation and storage of supplies
- Restock dishes, silverware, and other essentials as needed to support operations
- Welcome and engage with every guest to deliver exceptional customer service
- Identify customer needs and make appropriate product recommendations to enhance the guest experience and achieve sales goals
- Learn and consistently demonstrate the Starbucks Experience in all interactions
- Maintain equipment and service areas in a clean, appealing, and functional condition
- Comply with JW Marriott cash handling procedures and point-of-sale standards
- Complete Initial Store Training and achieve Barista certification with a score of 90% or higher
- Follow proper procedures for ringing guest checks and handling cash transactions accurately
- Perform all assigned side work duties according to established schedules
- Respond to reasonable management requests and support team efforts within role capabilities
