Job Requirements
- High school or equivalent education
- one year customer service experience
- safe server alcohol and food handlers certification
- must be able to stand and move for up to four hours
- ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- ability to push and pull carts or equipment up to 250 lbs
- ability to work in extreme temperatures
- excellent communication skills
- basic computer knowledge
- must maintain neat and clean appearance
- regular attendance
- ability to work varying schedules
- adherence to safety and security policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- one year of customer service experience
- good communication skills both verbal and written
- excellent customer relations skills
- detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills
- basic computer skills
- basic computational ability
- ability to deal effectively with customers requiring patience, tact, and diplomacy
- knowledgeable about Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, and POS systems
- self-driven and able to work independently
- strong issue resolution and analytical skills
- strong knowledge of drink preparation and health standards
Job Duties
- Take customer orders
- describe menu items and suggest products to customers
- provide information about products and look for up-sell opportunities
- prepare and serve hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan, and specialty beverages along with pastries and cookies
- prepare all drinks and food items following the outlet and company standards
- educate and inform customers about coffee beans, coffee preparation, and home brewing methods
- ensure equipment is clean and in working order and report maintenance or repair needs
- maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following sanitation regulations
- clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment
- clean tables, floors, and other service areas
- ensure coffee supplies are always stocked
- operate cash register/POS system and handle payments accurately
- follow company operational policies and safety and security procedures
- maintain a calm demeanor during high volume periods
- responsible for proper handling of all food and equipment
- perform other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
