Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- ability to stand for extended periods
- strong customer service skills
- familiarity with POS systems
- food handler certification or willingness to obtain it
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- compliance with dress code and appearance standards
- punctuality and reliability

- proficiency in operating POS systems

Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, service-oriented manner
- exhibit a self-starting personality and a positive, professional demeanor to effectively communicate with guests, team members, and the community
- adhere to Legacy Ventures Service standards as outlined in the Blueprint, brand standards and other policies / rules of conduct, to include personal appearance / grooming, proper uniform (including name tag), attendance as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel, and safe / efficient operations
- comply with certification requirements such as Food Handlers and Safety certifications, as applicable
- understand and follow brand standards and other quality and presentation guidelines to ensure excellent guest service and food and beverage presentation
- collaborate with kitchen staff and other hotel personnel to ensure smooth and timely service
- promptly serve guests with all food and beverage requirements in a warm, friendly, courteous and professional manner
- accurately process guest payments through cash, credit/debit cards, and room charges, ensuring correct entry in the POS system
- maintain a secure and organized cash drawer, verify room charges, and address any payment issues immediately
- follow established cash handling and check ringing procedures
- be familiar with the operation of the POS system
- ensure that the work area and front of house areas are kept clean, tidy, organized and stocked
- perform opening and closing side work per standards to ensure prompt and efficient service for guests
