Job Duties
- display a congenial appearance
- adhere to departmental policies and procedures
- attend daily communication, service, weekly staff meeting, and monthly department meetings
- communicate effectively with peers, management, line and front of the house employees
- practice effective listening
- maintain cleanliness of immediate work area and general property
- do not sleep on duty
- maintain behavior consistent with sexual harassment and hostile work environment policies
- greet guests in a timely, friendly, and professional manner
- comply with all service standards as described in the server training manual
- possess food, wine and liquor knowledge preferred
- brew coffee and tea and fill containers with requested beverages
- wrap menu items and assist with wrapping retail items for sale
- clear, clean, reset and maintain work area during shift
- assist other attendants to provide the best possible service
- understand the processes of product and equipment
- handle all guest checks according to hotel policy
- follow proper cash handling and room post procedures
- work with and support other servers
- maintain pars and equipment necessary for tasks
- complete side work as assigned by manager or supervisor
- assist guests in a friendly, professional manner
- follow directions from manager at all times
- notify supervisor immediately of customer complaints
- maintain proper uniform and name tag
- perform other job related duties as assigned
