Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience preferred
  • food service experience required
  • knowledge of basic food safety
  • infection control and sanitation knowledge
  • Serve Safe training may be required depending on location
  • ISDOH certification of Food handler under Title 410 IAC 7-22 may be required depending on location
  • basic computer skills
  • ability to stand and walk for long periods
  • ability to lift, push, pull, bend, and kneel

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare, plate, serve, and transport food and supplies
  • provide courteous and accurate service to patients, family members, physicians, and staff
  • manage sanitation, cleaning, and infection control practices to ensure food safety
  • operate food service and computer equipment including the CBORD system
  • serve coffee and other beverages
  • resolve customer concerns promptly
  • adhere to food safety regulations and protocols
